San Diego LLC Formation
California LLC formation, from a San Diego attorney.
California-licensed attorney based in San Diego, serving local clients in person and California clients statewide. Same flat-fee packages, same plain-English process — with the option to meet face to face when it helps.
California-licensed attorney. San Diego–based. Statewide California reach.
The local advantage
The substantive work is the same anywhere in California. What changes is access.
For San Diego–area clients, in-person is on the table. The intake call can be a video call (default) or a meeting at the office. Document signings can happen in person if you want them to. For multi-member LLC engagements where all members are local, the joint substantive conversation is often easier in person — body language matters when partners are negotiating ownership terms, even informally.
The other change is local context. A California-licensed attorney in San Diego knows the San Diego business community — what the local economy looks like, which industries are well-represented, where small business owners come from. None of that changes the legal work, but it sometimes changes the conversation. Asking about your situation lands differently when the person asking actually understands the context you are operating in.
Practically: same firm, same flat-fee packages, same plain-English process. The local element is an option, not a constraint.

The work itself
California LLC formation done with a California attorney walking the engagement — Articles of Organization filed with the Secretary of State, EIN, operating agreement drafted to fit your structure, initial Statement of Information, and a written compliance checklist for what California will expect each year afterward. Flat-fee packages, scope published openly.
For the full breakdown of what is included, what is not, and what each tier covers, the service and pricing pages cover it in writing.
Statewide California, with San Diego as the home base.
Most of the firm's clients are not in San Diego. The practice is California-licensed and serves clients statewide — Riverside, Orange County, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Imperial Valley, the Bay Area, the Central Valley, and beyond. Most of that work happens by video call, email, and signed documents.
If you found this page from a local query but live elsewhere in California, the answer is yes — the firm serves you too. The California LLC Formation page is the broader version of this same work.

Common questions about working with a San Diego attorney
- Do I have to come to your San Diego office?
- No. The intake call is a video call by default, and the substantive work happens by video, email, and signed documents. In-person meetings at the San Diego office are available if you want them — for the intake call, for the joint conversation in multi-member engagements, or for document signings. They are an option, not a requirement.
- I am in North County, South Bay, or East County — does that work?
- Yes. The firm serves all of San Diego County. North County (Carlsbad, Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, Encinitas), South Bay (Chula Vista, National City, Imperial Beach), and East County (El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee) clients are common. For most clients in those areas, video meetings are easier than driving to the office; for clients who prefer in-person, the office is available.
- Do you handle clients outside San Diego County?
- Yes. The firm is California-licensed and serves clients across the state — Riverside, Orange County, Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Imperial Valley, the Bay Area, the Central Valley. Most non-San Diego work happens entirely by video, email, and signed documents. There is no functional difference in the work itself; only the option of in-person meetings changes.
- What about virtual meetings vs. in-person?
- Both work. Virtual is the default for efficiency and is what most clients prefer once they think about it — no commute, easier scheduling, easier rescheduling. In-person is an option for clients who specifically want it, especially for multi-member intake calls and document executions where everyone in the room makes a difference.
- Where exactly is your office?
- The San Diego office address is in the contact section of this page and in the site footer. If you would like to confirm parking, accessibility, or directions before a visit, the contact form is the easiest way to ask.
